Our North Dallas client is looking for a Benefits Administrator to join their fast-paced team on a temp to hire basis
- Coordinates the administration of corporate benefit programs such as medical and dental insurance, group life insurance, disability, 401 (k), etc.
- Orients and processes new employees and works hand in hand with the Benefits Manager to organize this process
- Monitors satisfactory completion of mandatory employment requirements such as I-9’s and pre-employment drug screens.
- Consult with and advises employees on eligibility, coverage and other matters related to benefits.
- Administers FMLA for eligible employees.
- Maintains benefits records and documents.
- Processes exiting employees and providers required information to the employee regarding benefits, such as COBRA, HIPAA, 401 (k) notices, etc.
- Reconciles and processes insurance invoices for payment.
- Processes all employee status changes.
Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years HR experience preferred; benefits experience in FMLA, COBRA, and Insurance Administration preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows.
- Demonstrated ability to be a team player and operate effectively in an autonomous environment.
- Experience in ADP and Benefits Harbor is preferred
