Our Irving, TX client is seeking a Staff Accountant. This client offers outstanding benefits as well as a stable work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities for this position include:
- Prepare journal entries
- Assist with the monthly closing of the general ledger, including creating and posting journal entries, preparing analytical schedules and researching variances
- Assist with the implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Effectively manage vendor/client relationships with grace and professionalism
- Perform the daily processing of accounts payable/receivable transactions in an efficient and accurate manner
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables sub-ledgers
- Effectively manage bank deposits and reconciliations
- Support month-end close
- Willing to travel 10%- initial travel will be 40% for the first 3 months.
- Perform other duties assigned by Divisional Controller
Requirements for this position include:
- Requires a BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance
- 2-4 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- MPS/MRP skills preferred
- Successful candidates will have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
