Sales Account Manager with Telecom experience is needed in Irving, TX
Our Dallas/Irving client is seeking a Sales Account Manager: APPLY HERE
PURPOSE: Generate Gross Profit through the positioning and selling of Products and Services. Provide customer, market and product feedback to VP Sales to assist the team in identifying service opportunities as well as forecasting market demand.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: The Sales Manager will be the point person for the client's offerings.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for managing a deck of 50-60 accounts within assigned territory.
- Responsible for selling Products and Services into existing and future customer base.
- Will hunt and farm with all accounts and develop and maintain relationships with the key decision makers that purchase our products and services.
- Conduct daily calls to assigned customer base inquiring into all service needs. Each customer is to be contacted a minimum of every 90 days.
- Accountable for meeting and/or exceeding assigned sales objective and monthly gross profit quotas, maintaining existing and building new gross profit within named account base.
- Prepare and execute Sales Quotes, Sales Orders and Purchase Orders as needed or work with Logistics Coordinator on such transactions.
- Provide key customer feedback to VP Sales.
- Input customer information and requirements into customer contact information record to facilitate future buy and sell opportunities
- Gather and input all necessary customer information as it relates to creating a new customer/vendor, applying for credit terms, payment, shipping, etc.
- Initiate the process to provide required information to the sales team members to facilitate the sale of the equipment, or to identify accounts where equipment could be sold
- Provide assistance in identifying the proper valuation of equipment identified for a buy opportunity.
- Actively pursue identifying new purchase opportunities of qualified inventory.
- Knowledge of the industry is required
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent level of experience, preferably in business, marketing or communications.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales or customer service related experience
- A depth of expertise in healthcare IT, combined with a strong telecom background
- Customer selling skills – must be able to inquire about customers needs while identifying any service opportunities, overcome objections and close sales opportunities.;
- Ability to learn technical concepts is critical
- Manage sales funnel to analyze and manage pipeline activity and monitor gross profit activity against assigned sales quotas.
- Must be self motivated and self disciplined and provide prompt follow-up to all customer inquiries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good phone communication and etiquette
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Multi-tasking in a demanding sales environment
- Must be able to keep organized, accurate records on daily activities and results
- Competent in Excel, Word and Outlook
- Technical aptitude and proficiency with ERP and CRM systems
- Team player
- Overall “Go-Getter” attitude
