Our Woodlands client is seeking to hire an Employee Relations Specialist
Our Woodlands client is seeking to hire an Employee Relations Specialist on a Direct Hire basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for training and development of managers with regards to employee relations.
- Investigate employee issues and make recommendations to management.
- Process, review, analyze and communicate with managers with regards to disciplinary action forms and terminations
- Implement and be responsible for various programs and procedures for all company employees
- Working knowledge of employment law, government regulations and compliance pertaining to Human Resources
- Assist with compilation and implementation of Affirmative Action Plan
- Review and analyze compensation and identify trends and patterns
- Responsible for developing and making reports available to management
- Analyze workforce data and make recommendations for action and compliance
- Review and analyze Workforce claims
- Assist HR Director with various research projects and/or special projects
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast pace environment
- 5 years experience in employee relations in an HR environment
