Our Dallas, TX client is seeking an Actuarial Consultant. This position is an opportunity for a dynamic retirement consultant to provide administrative and strategic level retirement consulting services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and/or participate in administrative, ongoing, and strategic retirement consulting projects.
- Serve as a consultant to a variety of internal and external client contacts.
- proactively identify and participate in new business opportunities with existing clients and new prospects.
- Make presentations to clients and prospects on a regular basis.
- Effectively manage clients, project workflow, budgets, and team members to meet or exceed client expectations.
- Act as a mentor and role model for junior associates and assist with or provide leadership.
- Manage client expectations and results within client team.

- Successful candidates will have 5+ years of experience in retirement/actuarial consulting.
- Understanding of design, financing, communication and administration of corporate retirement plans.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully develop new business with existing clients.
- Proven project management experience.
- Strong business sense including the ability to evaluate pricing of services, recognize and respond to a competitive market, and develop strong links with other practices and offices.
- High energy individual looking for a dynamic, growth oriented environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work well with other team members, and to provide leadership.
- FSA, or ASA and EA designation required.
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, math-related or business field.
